43 Day Bible Reading Challenge!

So, as some of you know I have tried to read the whole bible a few times, and having  failed each time I decided to give up altogether and just read it at church or when my heart desires at home. However after reading Craig Kanalley account of how reading the bible changed his life, I think I am going to give it another shot. Not to mention that also through reading the word I’ll be getting closer to the Utmost High! (That is ALWAYS a bonus)

So below is my 43 Day reading challenge which in Jesus name I will not fail at this time! If you’re wondering why I made it a 43 Day challenge then wonder no more I made it 43 days just to be random !

So this is the plan; I will read the chapters listed below on the specific dates listed and also at the end of each day I will post a minimum of 2 memory verses and why I decided to make them my memory verses! I declare right now in the name of Jesus that through reading his word in the challenge below my life will be changed. After Day 43 by faith I will be posting a testimony of what occurred or changed in the time of the challenge

First Anniversary !

So, it’s been one year since my very first post on this blog! God is good and he is forever faithful! I haven’t been posting much as I’m still in full time education! So please do bear with me I will try and post more!

Praise Bible Verses

Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath PRAISE the LORD. Praise the Lord.”

Psalm 41:13
“Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.”

Psalm 103:22
“Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.”

Psalm 145:21
“My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.”

I have come to a point in my life where I have began to realise that actually, everything, yes EVERYTHING is vanity because the only reason why you and I are on this globe we call earth is to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Nothing else matters do you realise that? People live life wanting to make something of themselves, not realising that actually your are one of God’s most amazing creations and the power within you is indescribable. You live your life wanting to become ‘something’ why don’t you try living your life the way that God created you live it; through praising and worshipping him with your every action, your every word and your every desire. Let your life be a testament to the goodness and faithfulness of God. Do not live your life in vanity for your reap what you sow!

New Year, New Start !

Thank God for his grace that kept us through the year of 2013 and into 2014! Many wanted to make it to this day but they couldn’t! Many lost their loved ones last year but we thank the Lord Jesus that he kept us as well as our loved ones. He is a faithful God indeed. Continue to trust in him and to do his will in this year.

I decree and declare that the year of 2014 shall be a fruitful year for you in Jesus name! Amen.

Don’t let trials discourage you!

People from all walks of life go through trials. Whatever happens in life, do not let trials beat you down and destroy you. Ash God to reveal the purpose of the trial to you so that you maybe sure to not miss the lesson that God has for you. Do not give up in midst of a trial for 1 Peter 1:7 says “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold–though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”

Job went through all sorts of trials, he lost everything he owned, from property to his children and on top of that he got very ill, yet despite all of this through the grace of God he overcame his trials and he was given double for the trouble he had gone through. So brothers and sisters, wherever you are, continue to endure and use that trial as a way to practice living the word of God. Trials are so valuable because in essence they bring you close to knowing the person of God as your faith is increase!

Stay blessed!

Do not fear!

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

I just want to encourage someone this evening to not fear, you may be in fear of your financial situation, your education, your love life, your family members and anything at all that removes the peace of God from your heart that brings fear. Remove it right now and stand on the word of God for God never fails. Cast all your burdens and cares upon God for he is with you and he IS your God. So hence forth do not fear for God will strengthen you and help you.
